Judy and her husband, Jack, an artist, settled in Lakewood in 1980. She is a former English teacher and a retired paralegal who now devotes much of her time to serving her community. Vice President: Melanie Henson

Melanie learned to swim at a very young age on Pass-a-Grille Beach and over the years her memories of this area drew her back here.  She and her husband, Judd, moved from Denver about 5 years ago and are happily settled on Narvarez Way.  He does taxes for H&R Block and Mel does billing for Central Imaging. For the past 20 years they have worked with greyhound rescue groups wherever they’ve lived,  and have adopted two greyhounds of their own… although Mel claims the dogs adopted them.

Secretary: Patsy Wedding

Patsy has lived in Lakewood since 2000 and has been active with Neighborhood (Crime) Watch for most of that time. She is President of the Florida State USBCY, has worked with youth bowlers for over 40 years, and is Association Manager for the Gulf Coast USBC. patsybowler@gmail.com or 867-8450

Yvonne Rocks has been “Bonnie” all her life. She moved to Florida in 1966, met and married here in St. Petersburg and moved to Lakewood in 1972. She raised her son here, got a degree in floral design and marketing, and then taught at VoTech for 6 years. She started her own business, teaching and contracting for weddings and events. Bonnie was invited 7 times to the Governor’s Mansion to help decorate it and the Capitol for Christmas. She is now semi-retired and cares for elderly residents of the city. brocks@knology.net 867-5409

Pete grew up in Lakewood Estates in the 1960s and returned in 2011 after a 30-year career as a scientist for Texaco and Shell Oil companies. Director: Ola Bryant

Ola and husband Charley purchased their land in Lakewood Estates as an investment in 1981 while they were serving in the U.S Army. They built their home on the property in 1993. Ola retired from the Army, Air force Exchange Services (AAFES) in 2008 after 20 years. They have a daughter who has worked for The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) in Tallahassee for over 20 years, and a son who has worked for the Juvenile Justice System in Tampa for over 20 years. Roy took early retirement from American Airlines, having served as a Vice President in the data processing division. After moving to Florida in 1998, Roy obtained a license to sell real estate.
